I’m wondering how it got to be the end of December.
We’ve been a little busy around here of late… but today is a snowy-rainy-inside-day, so we’re just putz-ing around. Tomorrow the kid and I are driving out to Long Island to visit family.
I have the next week off from work and I have reserved my time to do some cleaning and organizing around the house. I need to get my head around what needs to be done because right now I’m a tad overwhelmed. Perhaps it’s because it’s the end of the year and there’s holiday bric-a-brac everywhere…. perhaps it’s because there’s a lot of stuff around here that doesn’t have a proper home.
I’m looking forward to doing something with the piles of papers and CRAP that have been growing out of my kitchen counters, so I’ll be purging, cleaning, sweeping up, tidying up… with a little crock pot cooking thrown in.
But lately:
1. Santa Salt Dough Hand Ornaments (I kind of followed the recipe in the picture here.)
2. Breakfast with Santa
3. Decorating
4. Princess playtime
5. Visiting the tree at Rockefeller Center with Daddy
6. Christmas morning at home
7. Our 4th wedding anniversary was yesterday
